Endong Wang is currently an Associate Professor of Sustainable Construction Management at State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF). He holds a B.S. in Structural Engineering, M.S. in Management Science, and Ph.D. in Construction Engineering. He had postdoctoral experiences in Mechanical Engineering. Before joining in ESF, he worked as a lecturer at Ocean University of China and Assistant/Associate Professor at University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.

 

His research primarily lies in the development of Sustainable, Resilient and Healthy built systems under a life cycle engineering angle. He worked as a major researcher (or PI/Co-PI) for several projects funded by EPA, DOE, (T)DOT, THEC, AGC, etc. He has produced more than 40 publications on quality journals (e.g., Energy and Buildings, Journal of Cleaner Production, Energy) and international conferences (e.g. CRC, TRB, ASC). As a team member, his research in sustainability won First Place Award in 2017 RAMP competition (NIST, NSF, ASTM, ASME). He also received the 2017 ORNL-ORAU Travel Award, 2013 AASHE Travel Award, Outstanding Reviewer awards (multiple journals), etc.
